Born in Orlando, Florida, Bob grew up in a community where a man´s word represented a man´s honor. These values of integrity were further entrenched at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Bob served his country for 20 years as an Airborne Ranger and Flight Officer. As a dual rated aviator, Bob commanded one of the Army´s largest fixed and rotary-wing units in Vietnam.  When Bob's company was assigned the mission of dropping South Vietnamese paratroopers into  the Iron Triangle, an area about 25 miles northwest of Saigon infested with Viet Cong. Bob saw an opportunity to be awarded honorary Vietnamese jump wings. He needed to make a total of five jumps with the Vietnamese units who were making practice jumps preparing for the mission.  Because Bob was a rated Senior Army parachutist, Bob's commanding officer reluctantly authorized Bob to participate in one or two of the practice drops only.  After making four jumps Bob learned there would be no more practice jumps; the next one would be for real.  Bob's tour of duty in Vietman would soon be over, so Bob applied for a 7 day rest and recouperation (R&R) leave to Hawaii.  Instead of going to Hawaii, Bob's own chopper pilots secretly dropped their company commander on the final combat assault on the Iron Triangle. He was the only American on the mission and did receive Honorary Vietnamese Parachutist Wings awarded by Lieutenant General Du Quoc Dong, Comanding General, Airborne Division, Rebublic of Vietnam Armed Forces.

Bob flew over a hundred missions during two tours of duty, to include many voluntary flights with Marine Corps Aviation when off duty from his Army aviation missions. 

Bob applies the same type of extreme determination as he exhibited in Vietnam to obtain his Vietnamese jump wings to real estate. Bob will not stop until you are satisfied. He finds genuine pleasure in knowing that he has truly helped you obtain your goal.

Bob Brokaw´s territory covers the exclusive areas of Sin Vacas, Pima Canyon Estates, Montanas, Cobblestone, Sunset Canyon, Manzanita, Westward Look, Cobo and Shadow  Roc as well as quality homes throughout the Foothills.  Bob submitted the very first lot reservation taken at the Preview Showing of Rancho Sin Vacas on the evening of 20 September 1978. He began construction of his home on Lot 157 in Sin Vacas in December of 1979 and became the first resident of Sin Vacas in April of 1980.
